Tony was my longest and best friend, we went to school together at Terrington St Clement in the 1960’s and after school we were Founder members of the Mighty Marsh Moped men or M9 for short. Tony was always up to something which normally included blowing up something with homemade bombs, playing chicken on mopeds or listening to Pink Floyd.
We spent many care free days at Terrington Marsh picking fruit helping my dad Eric with the horses or just hanging out, life seemed much simpler in those days.
After school Tony joined the RAF and I joined BT, but we still met mostly at the Foresters and occasionally overseas in Naples and in Holland in the 1980’s.   
As I have been traveling for many years I didn’t get a chance to meet with Tony’s or his family but fortunately we met last year at my Mother Betty’s 90th Birthday and we a great time reminiscing and of course drinking lots of good English Ale. 
I really believe Tony and Linda have gone to a better place but will be greatly missed.
